The DAUK Film Committee is screening ‘The Flaw’ on February 3rd.
This film complements earlier screenings of ‘Inside the Meltdown’, ‘Capitalism: A Love Story’ and ‘Inside Job’ by analysing how income and wealth inequalities and asset bubbles were important factors in the generation of the financial crisis alongside banking and financial-services’ policies and practices. It also raises the issue of the impact of these increasing inequalities on the way the economy works and prospects for economic recovery. This well-paced, entertaining and lucid exposition is one of the ‘must see’ films on the financial crisis.
We are very pleased that the film’s director, David Sington, will be leading the discussion afterwards.
Entry is only open to US citizens and their personal guests.
